Paper
Abstract
In this paper you will see what is it the play role, how will you use in the education, its advantages and disadvantage. It’s very important that as an English and Spanish teachers know strategies that allow, solve different problem of everyday life considering its context and needs.
Role play allows students to understand social behavior, the role that interactions play, and ways to solve problems more effectively. The exchange of roles also helps students collect and organize information on social issues, develop empathy and try to improve their social skills. (Joyce, Weil & Calhoun. 2002. page 6)
The role play allows to identify the role that each person plays in a given situation, keeping in mind their function, that is, the particular way in which they should act and in turn relate to others, in order to solve a problem, for example:
It is proposed to carry out a simulation of the school, so it is necessary to look at what individuals act in it, we find; Teachers, students, directives and parents, after it dialogues with students regarding the role played by previous the individuals, an agreement is reached as follows:
Students can then be asked, about the problems that are regularly observed in school, as a brainstorm, finally choosing one that serves as a problem situation, for example:
Teacher: It is who gives the class and regulates the discipline of the classroom.
Student: Learn and participate in the class given by the teacher.
Directives: They are those who perform administrative activities and exceptionally teach.
Parents: Support their children in learning
The teaching masterly of some teachers of the subjects.
As the roles, functions and problem are established, perform the simulation is given by the students, it is here that they create the scripts, which give an account of the problem situation and its possible solution.

Nowadays, in the educational processes, countless strategies must be taken into account that facilitate the different processes such as teaching, learning and, above all, the evaluative ones, since the world is changing and with it the new technologies have been articulated and pedagogical models, forcing us to rethink the educational intervention (Canton, 2001).
According to Aulaplaneta research, role plays are part of the active pedagogical model articulated to constructivism since this form allows to explore, train and practice complex skills at both academic and professional levels, both in adults and children.
Role plays allow them to be evidenced from different perspectives and the levels in which it is structured, being adapted to different contexts. Through role play, solutions can be given to everyday problems that are complex and that decision making that should enhance collaborative work, “obtain continuous feedback, achieve positive effects on motivation, creativity, communication and empathy and train real skills or situations without risk, in rich contexts and at the same time obtaining significant learning ”. (Autoplanet, 2017)
In all strategic and intervention processes we will find advantages and disadvantages and role plays are not exempt from it; For this reason we will present them below:
Advantages:
• Gives solutions to context problems.
• Examines problems with emotional disturbances such as conflict or tension.
• Develop communication.
• It allows adopting roles different from real life.
• You learn in a practical way.
Disadvantages:
• An action can be taken away from the proposed objectives.
• Sensitivity can be hurt.
To conclude it is very important to say again that role plays are not performances, because what they are looking for is to facilitate some educational processes such as teaching, learning and especially evaluative ones. Today this strategy is used by most teachers to deal with everyday problems and context.
We must use this strategy in our classrooms because it allows us to explore and understand their own behavior and that of other people in simulated situations. Promote a process of self analysis of the role assumed from the
feedback provided.
It is vitally important to know that these types of activities develop intrapersonal intelligence and communication skills, and also facilitate the transfer of knowledge.
